SAVANNAH - Roland Tee Irish, 88 passed away at home after an extended illness surrounded by his children. He is survived by his children.
He was born in 1927 in Savannah, GA and has lived in Savannah his entire life. He graduated from Benedictine High School and was honorably discharged from the U.S Army.
Roland had a long business career in sales and management at Bearings and Drives Inc. and was a member of Calvary Baptist as well as the Fenian Society.
Surviving are his daughter Stephanie Irish, son Skipper Irish, grandchildren Heather, Emily and Austin Irish, daughter –in-law Darra Irish, sister Lucille Clark, brother-in-law Edward Clark and nephew John Steffens Clark.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on 4/22/16 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM at Fox and Weeks, Hodgson Chapel.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
